How To Apply For UnionBank's EON Visa Debit Card

If you're an online money maker or a shopper and looking for the best way to do your activities and transactions in the Internet in terms of convenience and security then you must apply for UnionBank's EON Visa Debit Card.

But before we're going to proceed on the application process let me give you some thoughts about EON. This is simply a medium or a card that is use in cyber-world dealings like withdrawing your money in PayPal or in payment for your purchases at eBay or Amazon as an example via PayPal. If you want to learn more about this things you need to visit Union Bank's official website.

Now let's go back to the main track of this course. Basically, this piece will gonna teach you step-by-step on how to get your own personal EON Card. Here's how...

Step 1: Secure at least two(2) or more valid I.D.s. It may be mere government issued and/or combined with private issued such as SSS or GSIS, PRC, BIR, NBI updated clearance, Birth Certificate NSO authenticated, School I.D's if applicable, Postal, Employer's I.D. purely registered in SEC, Brgy. Clearance, Police Clearance, etc. If you want to see the complete list of required I.Ds' please do visit here. Another thing, these should be image or picture bearing I.Ds for easy verification.

Step 2: Make a photocopy of I.Ds to submit. This copy will be the bank's copy but you still need to bring the original together with the latter for verification purposes. This is very much important so don't forget it.

Step 3: SS and/or TIN number is required. Remember, bank will be needing this numbers for the purpose of checking and securing some important things that certainly adheres to the prevailing money laundering law of the country-Philippines.

Step 4: Be ready of your 350.00 Php. This amount is the payment of your first annual service fee. Although in my case they never collected me such amount on the application date but still I recommend to prepare for it just in case needed. Usually, they will collect it if you're going to get your card after one or two weeks of processing depending on your location. But if you are here in Metro Manila more than one week releasing of it would be too long not unless some serious problems had encountered.

Step 5: Go to the nearest branch of Union Bank and apply for EON. In order to know if there's a nearest branch of the bank in your area please do googling of it thru your favorite Internet browser and find what branch it is so that you can apply right away. If you wish to contact them first before heading to the branch you may do so and ask anything related to your application.

Step 6: Fill up the application form. If your identity was already verified the bank's personnel will give you a form which you will going to fill up with your personal and work informations. Please be honest with your information as it is required so that your information online and in the bank is the same. This will avoid unexpected errors and problems in the future. So expect for the papers that you will gonna sign most especially when you are about to receive your card.

Step 7: Wait for the banker's instruction. Finally, the banker will gonna tell you the date when will be the card available for pick up and what to bring on claiming it. Don't be confuse about this process where you have nothing to receive from them or a piece of paper as a claiming stub when you come back to the bank because it's normal. They know what they're doing and besides you're already verified that you are who you are in the papers that you presented prior to the filling up of application.

Take note this process is based on my actual experience, and surely everything I shared here were correct and true not unless further changes had been made by the bank without giving notice to the public. That is why I always suggesting you that visiting the official website of the bank or calling for its customer service hotline will absolutely clear everything in your mind.

So, thank you for reading my blog and if you think this article helped you so much in applying for EON then I congratulate you, but if you don't understand it then feel free to ask for any questions related to the topic in the comment section below. Of course not only question, you can always share your thoughts, comments, and/or suggestions. More Powers to all!

  12. zeitel, thank you so much for reading my blog. Based on my readings at UnionBank site, having SSS number with or without ID is a must. But on my case I had only SSS number and TIN number with ID. However, they haven't look for my SSS, only my TIN number and ID. You have to secure it so that you will have something to show in case they need it.
